*ring ring*
Me: The BizNasty, can I help you?
On the line, in a very curt voice: Let me talk at Dallas, thanks.
Me: May I tell him who is calling?
Him, maybe not curt… more, aggressively: This is Mike, thanks.
Me: Mike with what company?
Him, sounding like a dick now: Mike with General, thanks.
I cup my hand over the phone, certain this joker is a sales call of some strange variety, “Dallas, are you about to talk at a Mike with the General Company presently?”
Daddy rolls his eyes. Picks up the phone.
I can tell instantly that I was right as his general smirky and happy demeanor is replaced with a tired and irritated glazed-over stare.
“No, I-”
“Thanks, but I don’t-”
Anytime Daddy tries to talk, he is cut off by this DICK on the phone.
I am quite curious when, at the end of the conversation Daddy says, “No, thanks Mike. I know that I am not in need of a stronghand.”
Stronghand?!
So, apparently, Mike was calling to offer his services to get all of our clients to, “pay in full and pay now!”
The best part, and something I didn’t piece together until after Daddy told me what the call was about, was Daddy’s retort in response to, “Who is helping you collect on unpaid debts now, Dallas?”
“I’m currently using Guido.”
HAHAHAHAHA. DADDY! You win!
